Best Buy Mobile said today it will install Google mobile applications in the smartphones it sells at its retail outlets.
Best Buy Mobile employees will install Google Mobile App on all compatible smartphones through its “Walk Out Working” program which is a free in-store smartphone setup.

In a written response to allegations from Fidgit that Electronic Arts had forced developer BioWare to remove features in Dragon Age: Origins with the intention of selling it as future DLC, BioWare lead systems designer Georg Zoeller says the parent company has “nothing” to do with the decision. Denmark is a country which has traditionally embraced modern technology. For over a decade pupils have been able to type up their exam answers on computers.

The country’s latest move see’s the Danish government preach that the Internet is so much a part of daily life, it should be included in the classroom and in examinations.

With that belief, the government have taken the bold step of allowing full Internet access to several high schools during their final year exams.

A couple days ago, HTC tweeted the Hero would be anointed with Android 2.0, just like the DROID, and now, HTC’s website is showing us that the Hero will be offered on Telus’ network in GSM/HSDPA goodness. No specification surprises in the GSM variant: Telus’ Hero will have the same Qualcomm MSM7200A 528MHz processor, WiFi b/g, BlueTooth 2.0, and 5 megapixel camera as its CDMA cousin. Motorola and Verizon are doing their best to slay the giants Apple and AT&T, and by the looks of it, they’re obviously doing something right if we’re to consider the hype behind Big Red’s new DROID smartphones, the iDont campaign or the There’s A Map For That commercial. But things are getting even better as we just heard that Verizon Wireless is going to allow tethering on the new Motorola Droid starting early 2010.
